BLUEPRINT is the label and event series by DJ Boss Priester (BPDUBS). Rooted in underground club culture, the project explores structure through disruption, turning rigid systems into something fluid, playful, and alive.
ConceptThe concept is built around dismantling “the blueprint.” Instead of treating structure as fixed or mechanical, the identity challenges convention through movement and distortion. Inspired by the unpredictability of a dance floor, typography becomes unstable, responsive, and human.
References were drawn from obscure print-label software and early digital interfaces, translating functional graphic language into something expressive and contemporary. The result balances underground energy with a refined visual sensibility, creating a system that feels raw yet intentional.
DesignThe identity revolves around a custom-built reactive system where particles punch, pinch, and twist typography in real time. Text behaves less like static information and more like bodies moving through sp, constantly shifting and colliding.
The visual language combines sharp typographic structure with playful disruption. Harsh distortions, kinetic movement, and layered compositions create a branding system that feels immediate and recognisable across posters, screens, and motion applications. The tension between precision and chaos becomes the project’s defining visual characteristic.
ResultsBLUEPRINT establishes a distinct identity within contemporary club culture, separating itself from more static event branding through interaction and motion. The system feels responsive rather than decorative, reflecting the energy of the events themselves.
A custom browser-based software tool was developed specifically for the project, allowing the visual identity to generate itself dynamically across formats. The result is a living branding system that continuously reshapes its own blueprint
